- אַבְקָתָאf. pl. (אֲבַק) loops, leather rings, on bedsteads for the reception of cords; in door cases, for hanging doors in. Ned.56b; Snh.20b. דרגש בא׳ … a couch is called dargesh, when it is carried in and out (to be put up and taken apart) by means of loops (through which the cords are fastened); opp. mittah, v. בִּזְיוּנָא.Men.33a, Erub.11b ed.
